Peru - Uruguay
The most popular game in soccer today
Pick : Uruguay +0,5 (Uruguay not to lose) @ odds of 1,5 ( -200 in American odds)
Stake/Confidence: 3/10
Reasons:
1) Both teams need the points but Uruguay is a better side in my opinion
2) Pery is dissapointed after the heavy defeat in Colombia (5-0). Uruguay drew with Venezuela (1-1). They played with 10 men for over 60 mins.
3) 14.000 spectators are expected to see the game ( capacity of stadium is 45.000) because of the big disappointment from the previous game. Crowd support is really important in South America.
4) Uruguay has a good history in the games with Peru.
P.S: No bet is sure (except fixed ones) ;)

Hi all and thanx for warm welcome.. :103631605
It's Tuesday, and today just one game of World Cup Qualifiers 2006.
South American game. Peru - Uruguay. Others are tomorow..
The table is following :
1. Argentina 28
2. Brasil 27
3. Ecuador 23
4. Paraguay 19
5. Colombia 17
6. Chile 17
7. Uruguay 17
8. Venezuela 15
9. Peru 14
10.Bolivia 13
Four first places goes to World Cup directly..and fifth will have to battle with candidate of Oceania..probably Australia, for that one place..
Tonight's game featuring Peru - Uruguay. Hometeam with poor form lately and this is probably their last chance of getting first 4-5 spots.. But at home they are tough to beat and I expect them not to loose tonight. Uruguay has 3 more points then them, and they made 14 of their points at home..without a single win away from home..
This is probably no bet game.. and will advice to stay away, but for those who want to bet......... I doubt Peru will loose at home, as this is their last chance.. And I will suggest to play on homewin, with a money back cover on draw.. Odds are around 2.25 for homewin, and can be found around 3.00 for draw..
Hope tomorow there will be some better picks.. Till then.. :hola2:
I quoted kamei's pick here. I hope we both win with the draw

Yes i agree to that a draw is a very probable outcome, but also, lets not forget Uruguay are in a mustwin situation entering into their last 4 matches (well both are in fact)!
Although they have drawn their last 4 matches, they have taken the lead in their last 3, the most recent against Venezuela, which only poor finishing led them to let the game slip from them.
If i had to choose out of the two, Golden Boot man Forlan and Chevanton/Zalayeta should edge it tonite for Uruguay for me, to add their first away win in the qualifiers.
Peru were recently battered 5-0 away to Colombia, a horrible horrible start for new coach Ternero, which he is sure to want put behind him with a win tonight.
Overall the group is very tight right with 4 possibly 5 countries fighting for that last automatic qualifying position:
Argentina 28
Brazil 27
Ecuador 23
Paraguay 19
-----------------------
Colombia 17
-----------------------
Chile 17
Uruguay 17
Venezuela 15
Peru 14
Bolivia 13
But i think Uruguay are a better team, and although Peru have their own european big club players upfront, i dont rate Guerrero very much to be totally honest, but Jefferson Farfan is a good player but very much overshadowed by the towering 22 goals of Hesselink this season.
Probable Teams:
PERU: Juan Flores; José Mendoza, Santiago Acasiete, Miguel Rebosio, Juan Vargas; Juan Carlos La Rosa, Juan Carlos Bazalar, Nolberto Solano, Juan Cominges; Jefferson Farfán, Paolo Guerrero.
URUGUAY: Sebastián Viera; Diego Lugano, Guillermo Rodríguez, Diego López, Carlos Valdez; Diego Pérez, Darío Rodríguez, Pablo García, Ruben Olivera; Diego Forlán, Marcelo Zalayeta.
Uruguay 3.05 Betfair...value 7/10
Uruguay HT 3.3 (3.5) betandwin ...even better value 9/10

Heads up and smile... :) I just took the HC because i wanted to win my first pick here. I also thought Uruguay would win.
From today's matches i see Colombia winning at odds around 1,67 ( -149 )
