Well, let's see if we improve the bad results of yesterday...
First-leg of Italian Cup final.
Two weeks after the end of the season Inter face Roma in Olimpico favoured by the opinions of many observers. I also think that they will raise the trophy at the end even if maybe not so easily.
Inter not only ended the season much better than Roma, they also showed to be stronger in everything for all the season in which they have lost only twice but couldn't aim to win the title due to the high number of draws (18, 11 of which away).
For this match both teams have some problem formations, more from Inter side that should miss their best defender Cordoba therefore playing with Materazzi and Mihajlovic in the center (surely not a perfect and tested duo). Veron in midfield is out and Vieri is the other forfait in attack even if it's not a big problem cause he's out of condition. Also there is to consider some frictions between Adriano (their most important scorer) and his coach Mancini that certainly wouldn't be of help to the team.
On the other side Roma will only misses De Rossi and Aquilani in midfield and should play with a 4-4-2 formation therefore forward Montella, and best scorer of the team, will start from the bench.
Roma will play more relaxed cause even if they shouldn't win the cup they still qualifies for the Uefa cup next season so the pressure will be more on Inter players who can't fail to win at least this only trophy or the season will be undoubtely ruined with all the negative consequences it may have (a probable change of coach again).
As the odds show it's difficult to predict a final outcome for this game but I decided to go with medium-low stake on the draw which bookies rate the less probable therefore has juicy odds. Inter suffered the draw syndrome for all the season away from home and I consider it the most probable outcome for this match.<p>
