My League's 13th Annual Draft kicked off yesterday live at the Brown Derby in Montville, CT. I managed to stay sober til the 8th or 9th round. Here's my team:
Note that I have won this league 2 of the last 3 years and I'm one championship away from being THE Dynasty in the league as I'm working on my 5th Championship this year....I had the 10th pick in the 16-team draft which goes from 1-16, 16-1, etc... in that order.
Exact order of my picks...
RB W. McGahee:shocked to get him here
RB K. Jones:even more shocked to get him here
WR A. Johnson: happy
WR A. Boldin:happy
WR D. Bennett:thrilled to death...had him ranked 9th in all WRs
TE T. Heap: 6th TE taken!!!! retards!!!
QB J. Plummer: had him ranked 6th overall
DEF Carolina: had them ranked 1st overall and 3 went before Car.
BN T. Williamson: sleeper
BN L. Suggs: super sleeper, starter if healthy, BIG IF
BN B. Jacobs: FREAK of nature, 6'4" 260lbs 4.4 40-yard time, sick.
BN A. Toomer: I'll end up cutting for a bye week TE in wk 3
BN P. Ramsey: need him for 1 week, week 9 but wash faces Phill so I'll probably settle for someone else. I might trade Williamson for a solid backup...who knows???
K J. Kasay: happy

All I know is barring injuries I'm taking back my Title which I owned for 2002 and 2003 and I lost by 13 points in last year's superbowl. It's coming home!!!

All the experts are down on Plummer which makes me like him more. They are a running team obviously but this guy is a threat to throw for 4,000 every year and 25TDs...so what that he might throw 20 Picks they only are -2pts and he makes up for those with his sneaky ground numbers...he's a bootleg wizard in the Red Zone and Denver isn't gonna be that great this year so I'm looking for a lot of 4th Quarter Comeback situations needed.

I can't wait for live draft because I just deposited... I started fantasy football for last 3 years and have been top 2 so it's going to be a awesome fantasy league this year! Good Luck for another championship or not...

haha, I would consider myself lucky since I got irish blood in me! It will last as long as it can!
