Aight a full day of WC Qualifiers from Europe and South America. Here's what i'm liking now:
Andorra vs Finland -2,-2.5 @ 2.10 10:00 AM EST Kickoff
All these games i'm going to use base on logic, there's so much bullshit in other forums reading oh yah Andorra beat Macedonia at home well.....i'm sorry but 4 points out of 9 games scoring 4 goals and letting 27....right give me a break. Finland will be playing to find form and consistantcy. Unfortunatley for them they are stuck in the middle of the table. 8 games played 4 wins 4 losses. 2 defeats to the Netherlands 1 to the Czech's and 1 to the Romania's. All 3 teams are above Finland, and who are all still competiting for the top 2 spots. Finland have more quality players and it will require some sort of luck or a lack of inspiration for Finland to loose this match. Mikael Forrsell will be looking to get some goals here to gain some confidence going into club competition with Birmingham. Teemu Tainio will inspire the midfield while Sami Hypia will command the backline, these two players play for Tottenham and Liverpool respetively. There's nothing more to say about this game.
Wales vs England 10:00 AM EST Kickoff
I'm picking a prop bet for this one Rooney to score anytime @ 2.00 Sven is using a new formationa 4-5-1 i'm kinda bewildered why the fuck he would "test" a new formation in a game that has significant meaning. WHy hell didn't he use it against Denmark in a "Friendly". England is the clear favorite here, but with goal keeping questionable and no John Terry to control the defense, i think there will be problems. However, for Wales, Giggs hasn't shown 100% form. He hasn't played a full match for Man Utd this year!? So how do we expect him to be some sort of machine this match. I think come Half Time, if things aren't going to plan with England, expect them to reshuffle the formation as i would not be suprise to see two forwards by the end of this match. I smelly fishy shit going on here so i'm staying with the lines, if they stuck to the 4-4-2 formation i would trust em but after Sven's bullshit the past few games i cant really trust anything yet.
Russia vs Liechtenstein +2.5,+3 @ 1.85 11:00 AM EST Kickoff
Russia to win by 3 goals or more i think is asking too much. Here's why, Russia, in 9 games have only beaten two teams by more than 3 goals, that was Estonia 4-0 and Luxembourg 4-0 well if you can't convincingly beat an opponent by more than 3 goals on a consistant basis than why are u favored so much? The reason why i like Liechtenstein is because they are a nusance to many of the teams in this group. They have only lost by more than 3 goals once, and that was early in the stages vs Slovakia who are 2nd in the group, 7-0 away. oh and by the way Liechtenstein drew 2-2 with Portugal....yah with Portugal, the leaders of the Group and the same Portugal that were Euro 2004 finalists! So come on give these guys credit. Their last match, they drew Slovakia 0-0! Here is the list of their results
Liechtenstein 1-2 Estonia
Slovakia 7-0 Liechtenstein
Liechtenstein 2-2 Portugal
Luxembourg 0-4 Liechtenstein
Liechtenstein 1-2 Russia
Estonia 2-0 Liechtenstein
Latvia 1-0 Liechtenstein
Liechtenstein 0-0 Slovakia
Be back later with the afternoon kick offs, if anyone has any questions or opinions please feel free to post
