Coors field can be tough on many pitchers, but L. Hernandez is a likely candidate to get ROCKED on Sunday! He allowed 11 baserunners in just 6 innings last week in Game 3 vs. the Cubs & escaped giving up just 1 run including a jam where he WALKED THE BASES LOADED. All season he has had very high walk totals & has either been rocked in his losses or very lucky in his wins. The Cubs have weak bats, but Colorado's won 19 of 20 & is hotter than any team in MLB in years. What's gonna happen when Livan gets into repeated trouble at Coors vs. a team that isn't the Cubs? Well, I don't think it will be pretty & we'll leave it at that.
If I believed in "Game of the Year" plays, this would be mine. At the very least, it's likely gonna be my favorite pick of the entire MLB Playoffs. No 10-run Slaughter Rule in MLB? The D'Backs may vote to have it inserted after this one.
I think the stars align well, catching the Rockies at the best possible time vs. the D'Backs with the worst possible pitcher to start on the road in a potentially brutal ballpark.
I'm playing COL on the Alternate Runline -2.5 +210 (BetJam). If anyone follows me exactly, it's a solid shot to triple your original bet. At the very least, COL -155 or -1.5 all look good too, but I am going for the big payoff because I think the home team will roll.
