announcement suggestion

We should have a little announcement box somewhere, like where we can write "Poker Game tonight @ 5 pm" or for example the fantasy baseball league drafting tomorrow @ 9 pm could be announced.

we kinda have that, cept have not really used it well up to this point. I didnt even know if people read it. But the calendar feature can be used. I think we wil start to use this more. Todays events can be seen at the bottom of the main page. Then the events for the future can be seen through the calendar feature. I'll talk to the crew and we will get on this a little more.

i dont think people really read calendars.. i myself have never looked at it once.
I mean like just some red flashing text at the front of the forum maybe.. we'll see what other people suggest

we can definately do something for the home page. I think we are a little less able to do something on the forum page. I dont know all the technicall stuff, so i can only speculate. Would love suggestions, but will bring this up with my partners.
