The division between the two parties are one of the reasons this country is in the shape its in now.

If your totally one sided left or right then your part of the problem, and thats just not American.

Your probably correct though, we will not work for you. We will all be laid off and our jobs will be overseas.

it is so nice to have pops back around!

Im right there with you. demand less gasoline, lets change our technology. However lets not cut off our right arm in the process. We are a nation still adicted to oil, while not neccesarily a bad thing, if we do not act in the right way it will be.

wow.... glass almost empty huh? now let me explain.

broken auto industry

no, just changing. High prices and a growing change among consumers has caused the auto makers to change how they do business. The economy is not in great shape, and the auto industry is a part of it. The auto industry will survive. But when an entire country changes the kinds of cars it buys in a single year, then yes it may be broken for the time being.

broken real estate market

It is slowly fixing itself. And if you are buying a house, it is a great real estate market.

broken iraq war

Granted there were many things wrong with this war, but find me one person who says things are worse now than when we went in. We will not see the true effects of this for many years down the line. The next couple years will be interesting so see how we leave it and when.

broken job market

actually being in the market and looking for a job right now, I can tell you it is not that tough to get a job. Asking employers, and you will get far different jobs about who and how many employees are being hired. I have spoken with a number of banks over the last few weeks, and surprise surprise, they are hiring tons of employees. And the banking industry was supposed to be hit one of the hardest. worker efficiency is up, which will boost the economy, which will create more jobs. cycle, cycle, cycle...

broken bank industry

yep, but it is all tied together....and like the housing mess, this too will pass. I suggest looking at investment in some financials, it is only going to get better as other countries worsen comparatively. European Union is on track for a much worse period of time than we have seen.

broken credit industry

broken sub prime

pretty much the same thing, people spending much more than they have. Things will change, people will learn.... until something happens again like this. These are neither parties fault.

BROKEN STOCK MARKET

BROKEN DOLLAR

read above.

also, you want these to look better...then dont block our own drilling. That will only boost the economy and the dollar. Obama wants to knock the market even more when he becomes pres, he also wants to continue to rely on forieng nations for oil and send our money overseas.....not going to help our market or the dollar.

NYTHING IS BETTER THAN A MORON REPUBLICAN

good thing there are not too many of those. I cannot take people seriously who grumble about our economy and then want to go spend even more money and put additional restrictions in place thinking it will help. haha, it is this blind distrust of a free market that really dumbfounds me. It is like some people never took a basic econ class.

Oh and how do you expect anything to happen when your first concern is bashing the people you should be working with?
