agree every book has 5pm est as the kickoff thats what we go by as we cant have a window of a late kickoff due to tv as we dont monitor all the kickoffs.

Whatever you decide about my posts is fine...I read official kickoff as 5:15pm est....telecast as 5:00pm est.

I don't want any hard feelings, but I also won't be held as to another competitor's posts or opinions of a kickoff time. BetUS, which is official line, did not display an official kickoff time after the game started because I checked.

Maybe whoever posts lines could also post official time also please since it wasn't today?

going by donbest is a pretty good way to go for times and i posted all times for todays games but i do agree with you i wish the contest moderator would post them so i dont have to. i even asked that same question before

Alright after reading all this here is what I have decided.

1. The official start times were those posted at the beginning of the thread. Thus unfortunately that last USC game play is invalid. Every reputable site that listed game times I saw listed it as a 5pm est start. That is the time we must use as the deadline for picks. From now on I will post the times we will use in the thread myself. I did not foresee this being such an issue and I apologize for not doing this sooner.

2. To keep the picks actually legit, the last two days of games we will do the picks by e-mail only. Until then however, we will continue to post plays in the threads as we have been doing. The edit issue is now a non-issue. If you wait until the very last minute to post your plays you do risk the possibility of getting your plays in late. Please do not edit posts! I am not going to DQ your picks as it is now possible to see exactly when the last edit was made, but it is just easier to make a new post and explain your edit.

3. There is no way I can know if someone cheated or not. I will have to take his word that he did not edit his post and we move on. Lets drop this from here on out and just finish up the contest and let someone go after a new big screen. There are still plenty of football games and if anyone goes on a hot streak it is still possible to do win.

4. Unless there is units posted all plays will be assumed to be worth 1 unit.
