I was informed by Betjoint.com that they will not pay out on yet another contest for football season...after the fact of course. That's makes four that I'm aware of that they did not pay (including FBZ after month one I believe). I understand that people must deposit in order for them to sponsor contests...as I did several times, and lost, but you would think that instead of losing a customer they would try to do something to keep the depositing player. I'm not a big player by any means, but I play several books and expect honesty. How can a business expect to keep my business by telling me basically to f-off after playing in season-long contest? Some kind of token award would be appreciated if the full prize isn't gonna be paid, don't you think? Of course it's a business and they are trying to make money...but a little customer service and appreciation would go a long way in my book. Prizes are generally tied to a substantial rollover anyway.

What do you guys think?

I've never been contacted on this issue.

send me an e-mail if you are having an issue. That is the best way to resolve problems.

I am guessing this isn't a fbz contest since we don't have one going on with BJ.

I would like to read the rules of the contest your participating in at the other site. I have worked with betjoint a lot and can promise you from what I know about them they are pretty stand up guys.

I wonder if the other site wrote the contest rules wrong? Betjoint is picky about the fine print in the rules.

It could be that the service rep for them just isn't worth a crap. We have a great rep, so let me know if you need some help.

I am guessing you have this under control? I haven't heard from you.

Sorry if I mislead you guys...this had nothing to do with FBZ. It was a contest from another site and I wasn't asking for any help or mediation etc...just venting and making a point.

It had nothing to do with the rules or fine print. I won the contest and betjoint.com refused to payout the prizes...period. I received a prompt response to my email from them saying they did not get enough depositing players so they weren't going to pay out...just like here in the underdog contest here at fbz and several other forums....only in this one I wasn't notified until contacting them after the entire season was over since I hadn't heard anything.

imo that sounds like it was the forums fault for not letting you know the rules. That sounds like Betjoint let them hold the contest if they got some deposits, like the forum probably promised them.

Here we had players playing who were not going to deposit. when we started we had enough players to hold the contest, but then almost none of them deposited. Absolutely no book would hold a contest if they were not benefiting in some way. And Betjoint still paid out more than they got in depositing players. We posted that all the players who had been playing needed to deposit as per the rules and no one did. That had nothing to do with Betjoint taking away the prize.

I really think it was the forum who mishandled this, if you really think it was betjoint.... plz send us an e-mail and we will help you rectify this, as Betjoint has only been good with us.
